LLFCU Offers Free Tax Preparation!

Ledge Light Federal Credit Union partners with TVCCA to offer FREE tax preparation through the IRS VITA program.

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) offers the following: free tax help to low-to moderate-income (generally, $50,000 and below) people who need assistance preparing their tax returns, fast electronic e-filed returns and IRS trained and certified volunteer tax preparers.

The program is available Monday evenings at Ledge Light Federal Credit Union’s main office, 60 Colver Ave, Groton, CT from February 1, 2009 thru April 12th from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. No service on President's Day.

It is not necessary to be a credit union member and there is no appointment needed.
